Product Overview
The hexalobular (Torx) socket set screw is manufactured to DIN 34827-2016. A set screw has no head: the whole body is a threaded cylinder with a hexalobular (Torx) socket at one end. It is used to fix the relative position of a shaft and hub and to prevent axial movement of parts. The hexalobular socket transmits high torque and resists cam-out, and is widely used in machinery, electronics, precision equipment and applications that need flush fastening.
