Cross Recessed Countersunk Head Screw — Product Introduction
The cross recessed countersunk head screw is a fastener with a 90° conical head surface and a cross recess on top. After tightening, the screw head can sink completely into the countersunk hole of the connected part, sitting flush with the surface of the connected part. It is suitable for assembly applications requiring a flat surface. The product complies with national standards GB/T 819.1-2016 (grade 4.8) and GB/T 819.2-2016 (grade 8.8, stainless steel and non-ferrous metals). Thread specifications cover M1.6–M10, and property classes include 4.8, 8.8 and A2-70 stainless steel, etc.
1. Product Features
• Countersunk flush design: The head has a 90° conical angle. After being screwed in, the top surface of the head is flush with the surface of the connected part, with no protruding structure, avoiding interference with other parts or affecting appearance.
• Cross recess drive: Uses H-type or Z-type cross recess, compatible with Phillips screwdrivers or power tools. Compared with slotted drives, it is less prone to slipping and offers higher operating efficiency.
• Wide thread specification coverage: Nominal diameters from M1.6 to M10, nominal lengths from 3 mm to 60 mm, meeting various assembly needs.
• Various materials and property classes: Carbon steel (grade 4.8, 8.8), stainless steel (A2-70), non-ferrous metals (CU2, CU3), etc. Surfaces can be zinc plated and passivated or untreated.
2. Product Advantages
• Flat and attractive surface: The countersunk structure embeds the screw head completely, leaving a flat surface after installation, suitable for equipment housings, panels and other parts with appearance requirements.
• Interference prevention and space saving: The head does not protrude, avoiding interference with moving parts and facilitating equipment cleaning and maintenance.
• Good repeated assembly and disassembly: The complete thread structure allows repeated screwing in and out without damaging the thread, facilitating maintenance and parts replacement.
• Large head bearing area: The countersunk diameter is larger than the shank diameter. When tightening, pressure can be distributed over a larger area, reducing local damage to thin plates or soft materials.
3. Scope of Application
• Electronic and digital products: Housing assembly and internal component fixing of mobile phones, computers, cameras and other devices, where a smooth surface is required.
• Home appliances: Housing assembly of air conditioners, washing machines, printers and other appliances, preventing the screw head from interfering with other parts.
• Mechanical equipment and electrical cabinets: Control panels, instrument housings, chassis and cabinets and other applications requiring countersunk installation.
• Construction and decoration: Assembly of ceiling keels, decorative panels and aluminum alloy door and window frames, avoiding protrusion of screw heads that may cause scratches.
