U-Bolt — for Pipes with Nominal Diameter 20 to 500, Bow Clamp — Product Introduction
The U-bolt for pipes with nominal diameter 20 to 500, bow clamp, is a pipe fastening fitting conforming to DIN 3570. It is made of round steel bent into a U shape, with threads at both ends, and is used together with nuts and flat washers to fix pipes, round steel and other cylindrical objects onto supports or structural parts. The product covers pipe diameters from nominal diameter 20 mm to 500 mm, with thread specifications from M10 to M24. Common materials are carbon steel (grade 4.8, 8.8) and stainless steel (A2-70).
1. Product Features
• Wide specification coverage: Applicable nominal pipe diameters from 20 mm to 500 mm, thread specifications M10, M12, M16, M20 and M24, meeting fixing needs from small-diameter pipes to large pipelines.
• Two structural types: The standard is divided into Type A and Type B. The main difference lies in the height dimension of the bent pipe part, which can be selected according to installation space and pipe fixing requirements.
• Various materials and grades: Commonly used carbon steel (grade 4.8, 8.8) and stainless steel (A2-70). Surfaces can be blue-white zinc plated, hot-dip galvanized, etc., adapting to different anti-corrosion requirements.
• Complete accessories: Usually supplied as a set, including the U-bolt body, nuts and flat washers.
2. Product Advantages
• Reliable pipe fixing: The U-shaped structure can firmly clamp the pipe onto the support. When tightened with nuts, it effectively prevents pipe displacement and vibration.
• Complete specification series: Continuous pipe diameter coverage from 20 mm to 500 mm facilitates design selection and engineering procurement.
• Convenient installation: Fixing is completed by inserting into the support hole and tightening the nut, without welding or complex tools.
• Flexible material selection: The carbon steel version is economical and practical; the stainless steel version is suitable for humid or corrosive environments.
3. Scope of Application
• Pipeline installation engineering: Fixing of water supply and drainage pipes and industrial pipes on supports.
• Construction and machinery: Fastening of tubular objects in building installation and mechanical accessory connections.
• Vehicles and ships: Fixing of truck chassis and frames, as well as ship piping systems.
• Bridges and tunnels: Fixing of pipes and structural parts in bridge and tunnel engineering.
