J-Type Foundation Bolt – Product Introduction
The J-Type Foundation Bolt (commonly known as the umbrella-handle foundation bolt or hook-type foundation bolt) derives its name from the 180° hook at its end, which resembles the letter “J”. It is specifically designed to be embedded in concrete foundations for securing the bases of various machines and equipment. The hook design effectively enhances the anchoring effect with concrete, provides reliable pull-out resistance, and is suitable for various engineering scenarios with medium loads and high requirements for pull-out performance.
I. Product Features
180° hook anchoring structure: The end is bent into a J-shaped hook, forming a mechanical lock inside the concrete; the hook engages a large bonded area with the concrete, providing strong anchoring stability.
Wide specification range: Common diameters cover M6 to M150, with customizable lengths.
Flexible material selection: Commonly Q235, 45# steel, 40Cr, Q345B (16Mn), etc., able to meet different strength grade requirements as needed.
Diverse surface treatments: Available in natural finish, black oxide, zinc plating, hot-dip galvanizing, dacromet, etc., to suit different corrosion-protection needs.
Optional strength grades: Standard grades up to 3.6, 4.8, 6.8, 8.8, etc.
II. Product Advantages
Excellent pull-out performance: The embedded hook anchoring design delivers pull-out resistance far exceeding that of straight-shank bolts, effectively resisting the uplift forces and vibration loads generated during equipment operation.
Simple structure with high cost-effectiveness: The mature manufacturing process keeps overall cost low, making it the choice that balances performance and cost under medium-load conditions.
Convenient and efficient installation: The embedding operation is simple, single-sided construction is easy, and batch rapid installation is possible, significantly improving on-site construction efficiency.
Strong load adaptability: It is core-suited for 50–200 kN medium-load scenarios; for larger loads, plate-embedded foundation bolts should be selected.
III. Application Scope
The J-Type Foundation Bolt targets medium-load, high pull-out requirement conditions, specifically including:
Power and tower engineering: Foundation anchoring for transmission towers, communication masts, signal towers, etc.
Medium machinery equipment foundations: Fixing of various medium-sized production machinery and power transformer foundations.
Steel structure buildings: Anchoring construction for steel-structure plants and ordinary steel column feet.
Chemical and general industry: Foundation embedding for chemical steel-structure projects, pump equipment, boiler installation, etc.
