T-Type Foundation Bolt – Product Introduction
The T-Type Foundation Bolt is a fastening element specially designed for the installation of high-precision, heavy-load equipment. It consists of a T-head at the top and a threaded shank at the bottom. During installation, the T-head is inserted into the anchor plate seated in the slot reserved in the concrete foundation; working together, they form a reliable connection resisting both pullout and shear. It belongs to the category of movable foundation bolts. Unlike the “fixed” types A, B and C, the T-Type bolt is removable, which facilitates later equipment replacement and maintenance. Therefore, the T-Type Foundation Bolt is the standard choice for scenarios with extremely high requirements for installation accuracy and load capacity, such as large machine tools, heavy power equipment, metallurgical machinery and hydraulic presses.
I. Product Features
T-Head anchoring structure: The head is T-shaped and mates precisely with the anchor plate in the foundation, providing strong pullout and shear resistance.
Removable, movable design: Belonging to the movable foundation bolt family, the equipment can be replaced, easing later repair and relocation; it is especially suitable for heavy equipment subject to strong vibration and impact.
High-precision positioning ability: The mating of the T-head with the anchor plate enables accurate alignment and fixing of the equipment installation position.
Mature structure and process: The structural design is scientific and reasonable, usually manufactured by welding or integral forging, and can be customized to different strength requirements.
Wide specification coverage: A broad diameter range, commonly starting from M20, and larger sizes can be made on demand. For example, per standard JB/ZQ 4362, specifications can reach M160.
II. Product Advantages
Exceptional load capacity: The mechanical locking effect of the T-head inside the anchor plate gives it pullout, shear and torsional performance far exceeding ordinary hooked foundation bolts, making it the first choice for heavy equipment.
Convenient installation and maintenance: Unlike the one-time embedded types A/B/C, the T-Type bolt uses the pre-set anchor plate method; once the equipment is in place, the bolt can be installed, and disassembly is flexible, greatly facilitating later equipment replacement and foundation maintenance.
Suitable for strong-vibration conditions: Its special anchoring method can effectively absorb and resist the strong vibration and impact loads generated during equipment operation, ensuring long-term safe operation.
Reliable quality with clear standards: Production follows clear standards (such as JB/ZQ 4362), guaranteeing product stability and reliability. Optional property class 8.8 or higher meets high-strength demands.
Flexible material selection: Depending on the environment, carbon steel (e.g. 45# steel) with blackening or galvanizing can be chosen, or stainless steel (304/316L) for maintenance-free corrosion protection.
III. Application Scope
The T-Type Foundation Bolt is dedicated to heavy engineering and equipment foundations with extremely high requirements for precision, load capacity and stability. Core application scenarios include:
Heavy machinery equipment foundations: Large machine tools, hydraulic presses, compressors, steam turbines, generators, rolling mills, crushers, etc.
Metallurgy and heavy industry: Foundation fixing of heavy-industry equipment such as steel, smelting and mining machinery.
Power and energy equipment: Large generator sets, nuclear power plant equipment, wind-turbine towers, etc.
Tall steel structures and towers: Large steel columns and transmission towers requiring precise anchoring, with strong control requirements for overturning moment.
Large equipment requiring frequent maintenance or replacement: Taking advantage of its removable feature to facilitate periodic inspection and replacement of equipment.
