THREADED ROD — PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
Threaded rod, commonly known as a threaded bar, all-thread screw, or threaded stud, is a rod-shaped fastener with continuous threads running along its entire shaft length. It is typically supplied in slender rod form, with common lengths of 1 meter, 2 meters, or 3 meters, and can be cut on-site to any length as needed. As a fundamental and versatile hardware component, threaded rod serves critical functions in construction, renovation, and industrial assembly — including connection, tensioning, suspension, and motion transmission.
I. PRODUCT FEATURES
Full-thread all-shaft design:The entire rod shaft is covered with continuous threads, allowing nuts to be threaded in from any point along the middle section, making it ideal for adjustment at either end or anywhere along the rod.
Complete specifications with full standardization:Nominal diameters from M3 to M48 are all available, with both coarse thread and fine thread options, conforming to GB/T 15389 (Threaded Rod Standard) and other general-purpose specifications.
Customizable length and extendable by joining:Rods can be used directly or joined end-to-end using hexagonal nuts (coupling nuts) to extend beyond the length of a single rod, overcoming length limitations.
Material identification at a glance:On the market, materials are typically distinguished by surface color and finish: bright silver (zinc plated), blue-white passivation, black oxide, and bare stainless steel appearance.
II. PRODUCT ADVANTAGES
Exceptional universal interchangeability:Compatible with the vast majority of metric nuts and washers available on the market — no custom parts required, making procurement simple and convenient.
Flexible on-site processing:Carbon steel rods have moderate hardness, allowing workers to easily cut them to any length using a hand saw or angle grinder on-site, without concern for unexpected dimensional changes.
Cost-effective with low expense:Compared to precision bolts or stepped shafts of equivalent specifications, raw material costs and tooling wear are extremely low, making threaded rods ideal for large-scale pre-embedding applications.
Endless combination possibilities:Paired with different accessories (such as coupling nuts, eye bolts, and chemical anchor bolts), threaded rods can be quickly combined to form hooks, tension rods, support feet, and other non-standard fixtures.
III. AREAS OF APPLICATION
Building mechanical and electrical installation:Used as all-thread suspend rods to support ventilation ducts, fire sprinkler pipes, and cable trays in overhead suspension systems.
Renovation and home decoration:Paired with expansion anchors for ceiling load-bearing in suspended ceiling installations, or used as pull rods in drain pipe leak repair.
Equipment and steel structure accessories:Used for fine elevation adjustment after secondary grouting of equipment base plates, or for threading through purlin brackets and railings in light steel structures.
Woodworking and furniture manufacturing:Used as through-bolt tension rods for joining thick laminated wood panels; or for exposed decorative bolt styles in custom furniture.
Equipment maintenance and custom fabrication:Used as DIY push rods in puller disassembly tools, extension rods for valve handwheel modifications, and various simple clamping fixtures.
