Internal Threaded Cylindrical Pin of Unhardened Steel and Austenitic Stainless Steel — Product Introduction
The internal threaded cylindrical pin (unhardened steel and austenitic stainless steel) is manufactured according to GB/T 120.1. It is a cylindrical locating pin with an internal threaded hole at one end. The pin body is cylindrical, and its outer diameter forms a precision fit with the pin hole for locating and connecting parts. The internal threaded hole at the end facilitates the use of a bolt or special tool to pull the pin out of a blind hole, making it especially suitable for applications requiring frequent disassembly or where the pin cannot be pushed out from the other end. The product is available in unhardened steel or austenitic stainless steel to suit different service environments.
1. Product Features
• Standard structure: Dimensions conform to GB/T 120.1, fit well with standard pin holes, and offer good interchangeability.
• Internal thread design: One end has an internal threaded hole, making it easy to install a removal bolt for pin extraction.
• Optional materials: Unhardened steel (such as 45 steel) or austenitic stainless steel (such as 304) can be selected to meet different requirements.
• High fit precision: The outer diameter has high dimensional precision, ensuring accurate positioning and reliable connection.
• Smooth surface: Low surface roughness allows smooth assembly without damaging the inner wall of the pin hole.
• Good toughness: Unhardened steel has good toughness and is not prone to brittle fracture; austenitic stainless steel is corrosion-resistant and suitable for humid environments.
2. Product Advantages
• Easy disassembly: The internal threaded hole allows easy extraction with a bolt, solving the difficulty of removing locating pins from blind holes.
• Reusable: The pin body and pin hole are not easily damaged during removal, allowing repeated assembly and disassembly and reducing maintenance costs.
• Strong material adaptability: Unhardened steel is suitable for general mechanical applications, while austenitic stainless steel is suitable for corrosive environments.
• Reliable positioning: The cylindrical surface fits precisely with the pin hole, ensuring accurate part positioning and preventing misalignment.
• Good versatility: Complete specifications allow direct fitting with standard pin holes, widely used in various mechanical assemblies.
3. Scope of Application
Internal threaded cylindrical pins are widely used in applications requiring positioning, connection and easy disassembly, including:
• General machinery: Positioning and connection of machine tools, reducers, gearboxes and other components.
• Automobiles and motorcycles: Removable locating pins in engines, transmissions, chassis, etc.
• Molds and fixtures: Locating elements in stamping dies, injection molds and jigs.
• Food and pharmaceutical machinery: Stainless steel internal threaded cylindrical pins requiring corrosion resistance and easy cleaning.
• Chemical equipment: Positioning and connection exposed to acid, alkali and humid environments.
• Instruments and meters: Positioning and connection in precision mechanisms.
