Product Introduction — Hexagon Nut Type 1 


Hexagon Nut Type 1 GB/T 6170-2015 is a standard hexagon nut conforming to the Chinese national standard “Hexagon Nuts, Style 1”, corresponding to international standard ISO 4032, and commonly referred to as DIN 934 under older standards. The nut has a hexagonal shape with internal threads in metric coarse or fine pitch, and property classes include 6, 8, 10, and 12. Common materials are carbon steel or alloy steel (such as Q235, 45 steel, 35CrMo, etc.), with different strength levels achievable through heat treatment. Its dimensional specifications are uniform with excellent interchangeability, making it one of the most commonly used standard fasteners.

Hot-dip galvanizing and Dacromet are common choices for outdoor applications. For humid, coastal or chemical environments, stainless steel 304/316 or higher corrosion-resistant solutions may be better.
