Product Introduction — Square Weld Nut


The square weld nut (GB/T 13680-1992) is a nut with a square base specifically designed for welding fixation. Its shape is square, and the bottom surface is typically designed with projection studs or protrusions, firmly welded to the surface of metal sheets or workpieces through projection welding, thereby forming a reliable threaded connection base on thin walls. The product is generally made of low-carbon structural steel (such as Q235-A, 08, 10, 15 steel, etc.), with excellent weldability and mechanical properties, and is widely used in various metal structural components requiring internal thread connections.


One Product Features

Standard square structure: The regular square shape facilitates positioning and installation, and prevents rolling during welding.

Bottom projection stud design: Protrusions or studs are provided at the four corners or around the bottom surface, which helps concentrate current, ensures weld quality, and improves welding strength.

Low-carbon steel material: Commonly uses Q235-A, 08, 10, 15 steel and other carbon steel materials with low carbon content, excellent weldability, and resistance to cracking.

Standard internal threads: Thread dimensions and tolerances comply with relevant national standards, matching well with ordinary bolts and screws.

Optional surface treatments: Galvanizing, blackening, phosphating, and other surface treatments are available to improve corrosion resistance.

Hot-dip galvanizing and Dacromet are common choices for outdoor applications. For humid, coastal or chemical environments, stainless steel 304/316 or higher corrosion-resistant solutions may be better.

Please provide drawings or 3D files, material, dimensions, tolerance, grade, surface treatment, packing method and quantity. If drawings are not ready, samples or installation photos can also be reviewed.

Bolts and nuts should match nominal diameter, thread pitch, thread type, standard and strength grade. High-strength connections should also use suitable washers and anti-loosening solutions.
