Installation is achieved solely by hammering the drive pin, which forces the sleeve to expand and lock securely within the pre-drilled hole. Its primary advantage is exceptional installation speed, making it ideal for high-volume, light-to-medium duty fastening applications where removability is not required.

Installation Guidelines

  1. Drill Hole: Drill a hole in the base material with a carbide-tipped masonry bit. The hole diameter must match the anchor diameter exactly, and the depth must exceed the anchor length.

  2. Clean Hole: Remove all dust from the hole using a brush, air, or vacuum.

  3. Insert Anchor: Place the anchor through the fixture and into the clean hole until the washer head is flush against the surface.

  4. Drive Pin: Using a standard hammer, strike the drive pin squarely until the pin head is flush with or slightly below the top of the sleeve. The anchor is now set.

  • Note: Once set, the anchor is not removable without destroying it. Ensure correct placement before final driving.
