Product Overview

A Chemical Anchor Bolt is a two-component structural fastening system consisting of a threaded rod (stud bolt) and a high-performance chemical adhesive (resin), engineered for cast-in-place installation into base materials such as concrete, masonry, and natural stone. Unlike mechanical anchors that rely on friction or expansion, it creates a full, load-distributing bond by curing the adhesive within a pre-drilled hole, resulting in exceptional pull-out strength, resistance to vibration, and suitability for use in cracked concrete and edge/group configurations. It is the preferred solution for critical, high-load structural connections in construction and renovation.

Installation Procedure (Critical for Performance)

Proper installation is paramount. The certified procedure includes:

  1. Drilling: Use a rotary hammer drill with a carbide bit to the specified diameter and depth. Drill depth > anchorage depth.

  2. Hole Cleaning: Most Critical Step. Use wire brush, compressed air, and vacuum to remove all dust (recommended: “clean, blow, clean” sequence).

  3. Injection: Insert the mixed resin cartridge into the hole using a dedicated dispensing gun. Inject from the bottom upwards to avoid air pockets.

  4. Insertion: Slowly rotate and insert the cleaned threaded rod to the full depth, ensuring full embedment and resin coverage.

  5. Curing: Allow the resin to cure fully before applying any load. Cure time depends on resin type and ambient temperature (see technical data sheet).
