DRIVE-IN EXPANSION ANCHOR (JD TYPE) — PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
The Drive-in Expansion Anchor (JD Type) is an internal expansion metal bolt that achieves rapid anchoring through hammer impact. It consists of an internal conical plug, a sleeve with expansion slots, and a threaded rod (usually integrated). During installation, the anchor is passed through the object to be fixed and placed into the base hole, then the top of the rod is struck with a hammer, causing the internal conical plug to expand the sleeve and form a frictional locking key with the hole wall, completing the anchoring. The main materials include zinc-plated carbon steel and stainless steel, suitable for static fixation in solid base materials such as concrete and natural hard stone.
I. PRODUCT FEATURES
Extremely Simple Installation: No special tools required, a single hammer is sufficient to complete the installation, locking is achieved through impact.
Internal Expansion Force: Expansion occurs deep within the hole, producing uniform extrusion pressure against the hole wall from inside to outside.
Removable Threaded Rod: After anchoring, the threaded rod can be completely unscrewed, facilitating equipment maintenance or replacement, leaving a flat base material surface.
Small Edge Distance: Since expansion occurs at the bottom, the stress generated around the hole wall is minimal, allowing installation closer to edges.
Clear Specifications: Usually manufactured according to standards, covering the full M6-M20 series with excellent interchangeability.
II. PRODUCT ADVANTAGES
High Construction Efficiency: Compared to chemical anchors that require curing time and torque wrench tightening, hammer impact completes fixation instantly, significantly reducing labor hours.
Suitable for Narrow Spaces: No rotational operation space required, direct hammer impact is sufficient, especially suitable for positions such as inside corners of channel steel and areas close to walls.
Excellent Reliability: Pure mechanical locking key, unaffected by temperature and oil contamination, superior vibration resistance compared to ordinary nylon expansion sleeves.
Low Base Requirements: Relatively lenient requirements for drilling depth and hole cleaning, with high tolerance for errors.
Economical Cost: Both product unit price and installation labor costs are low, making it a cost-effective solution for light to medium-duty anchoring.
III. SCOPE OF APPLICATION
Construction Installation: Fixation of door and window frames, keels, cable trays, pipe supports, and ventilation ducts.
Equipment Fixing: Base plate anchoring for distribution boxes, control cabinets, small machine tools, and pump equipment.
Decoration and Renovation: Installation of stair handrails, guardrails, light steel partitions, and ceiling suspension rods.
Maintenance and Repair: Particularly suitable for fixing fences, display racks, and temporary facilities requiring periodic disassembly due to the removable threaded rod design.
Suitable Base Materials: Concrete and natural dense stone. Not suitable for hollow bricks, aerated blocks, or other cavity and lightweight brittle base materials.
